Welcome to T.BARKER Carpentry & Joinery, your local carpentry and joinery business based in Southill (near Biggleswade) Bedfordshire. With over twenty years experience in carpentry & joinery I offer a wide range of carpentry and joinery services. I manufacture and install bespoke furniture and joinery products such as staircases, windows, doors etc, and also undertake a variety of other carpentry and property servcies as required. A Bit About Me
My name is Tim Barker, and I am a Carpenter and Joiner based in Southill, Central Bedfordshire.
I began my career as a Carpenter and Joiner in 2003 by working as an apprentice Joiner for a local Joinery firm based in Westoning. Over the course of the next ten years I worked as part of the team manufacturing and fitting bespoke windows, doors, staircases, kitchens, conservatories, fitted furniture, and .... well anything and everything made from timber!
In January 2014 I made the decision to go self employed, and over the course of the next ten years worked in property maintenance, combining my carpentry and joinery skills with a variety of other building and plastering skills.
In 2025 I began trading as T. Barker Carpentry & Joinery. I continue to manufacture and fit bespoke furniture and joinery, and to undertake a variety of on-site carpentry.
